Niche campaign – Photon Surgical Systems Draminski i-Scan 2
This was a tightly targeted campaign aimed at vet surgeons in the 100 UK farm animal practices to promote a portable ultrasound scanner.
Our client wanted to raise the brand profile, create engagement among farm vets and generate leads for its sales force. Measurability of the campaign was important, and the assurance that the message was reaching the right niche audience.
We ran a prize draw to win an Amazon voucher on our competitions page of vettimes.co.uk, promoted by a Facebook ad campaign. We coordinated the timing with a bound on outsert on Vet Times Livestock, a twice-yearly title mailed exclusively to livestock vets, which featured a perforated entry form that could be returned by post. This was backed up by a relevant editorial feature written by a KOL within the pages.
The Facebook ad reached 5,200 people and gained 109 post clicks to enter the competition.
The competition gained 174 entries.
We were really happy with the results of the campaign we ran with Vet Times Livestock and on vettimes.co.uk, which was effective in helping to raise the profile of our ultrasound scanners with cattle vets. As a result we have booked several demos and generated more than150 leads, so indications look good for a return on investment. We will certainly consider similar campaigns in the future.
