Event promotion – Boehringer Ingelheim

This event promotion campaign spanned across the whole market, and gave all members of the profession and industry the chance to sign up to a Christmas party and comedy night.

Brief:

After a very difficult year for everyone in all industries due to COVID-19, Boehringer wanted to offer a “free night in” for the whole of the vet channel, irrespective of their role. They wanted to reach as wide an audience as possible, but also give local audiences a reminder of who their area manager was.

Solution:

An omnipresent campaign throughout late November and December. This encompassed, print, digital, social media and direct mail. The direct mail was an A5 invitation card sent to named individuals, with a box of Quality Street to enjoy during the Christmas party event. The invitation also had their local rep on it, to remind them of who they needed to speak to, to purchase Boehringer products. The print, social media and banner advertising drove people to the sign-up pages.

Social ads received around 20,000 impressions, with an active reach of 4,000 and a total of 133 link clicks to sign up.

Results:

The client set a target of more than 2,000 sign-ups and this was achieved through the combination of the marketing Boehringer did with us.
